Training with purpose: Cuinant Oportunitats students visit Lluerna restaurant
Santa Coloma, June 17, 2025
Within the framework of the social and labor insertion program Empleadís, the group of students of the Cuinant Oportunitats cooking workshop made a training visit to the renowned restaurant Lluerna, a Michelin-starred restaurant based in Santa Coloma de Gramenet.
The visit is part of the pedagogical actions of the Empleadís program, an initiative of Mescladís that aims to facilitate the employability of people in vulnerable situations through training in cooking and catering, personalized accompaniment and direct contact with companies in the sector. In particular, the Cuinant Oportunitats workshop offers participants practical and theoretical tools for their professional development, through classroom sessions, practices in real contexts and activities such as this one.
"Training is not only about learning recipes or techniques, but also about looking, asking questions, getting inspired and building bonds. These visits allow trainees to imagine themselves in the sector, gain confidence and approach the working world with tools and motivation," the Empleadís pedagogical team explains.
From Mescladís we are deeply grateful to the Lluerna team for their generosity and for opening their doors to this shared learning experience.
