We produce knowledge through the Cuinant Oportunitats Program, which facilitates job placement in the hospitality industry for people in vulnerable situations, and we offer training for professionals who wish to improve their skills in various specialties, including sustainable catering.
Cuinant Oportunitats Program
Cuinant Oportunitats is a training program that facilitates job placement in the hospitality industry for people in vulnerable situations through a comprehensive methodology that expands opportunities and the network of contacts, strengthening personal skills and professional competencies.
The training takes place in our restaurants, providing a professional environment where students apply what they have learned, preparing them optimally for their future integration into the labor market.

Specialization in Cooking
Our specialized training in professional cooking consists of a program that combines theoretical and practical training (360 hours) and practice in the kitchens of our restaurants and in restaurants in the HORECA sector (120 hours). It is a training for those interested in the professional kitchen sector, with or without previous experience.
The modules of catering, events, community development, employability improvement, development of cooking workshops and pass service in our professional kitchens are some of the key elements of our training.

Specialization in Room
With specialized training in customer service and attention in the dining room, we train students to be part of the day-to-day dynamics of customer service in a restaurant.
It consists of 360 hours of theory and 120 hours of practice in Mescladís restaurants and in restaurants of our support network, where the keys to customer service, barista, cocktails, wine service and gastronomic culture in general are developed, preparing students to work in the HORECA sector.

Protecting Rights
This is Mescladís’ initiative to build on our training programs in inclusive hospitality by supporting individuals who wish to take the next step in their professional development within the hospitality industry.
The training takes place in real-world settings and is designed as a progressive program: first, the management fundamentals needed by anyone with responsibility for a team, and then—for those who want to take the next step—the tools to build their own project.

Track 1 — Management and Administration
Our Track 1 consists of a 7-week program that combines theoretical, technical, and practical training with real-world industry experience. It is designed for individuals with prior experience in cooking or the restaurant industry who want to take on more responsibility and advance their professional development. Key components of this training include managing cost sheets and technical specifications, organizing the kitchen and service operations, managing suppliers and raw ingredients, and designing practical workspaces and workflow systems.
-
Track 2 — Development and Incubation
Our Track 2 consists of a 5-week program, which students can enroll in after completing Track 1 or passing an entrance exam. It is designed to help students turn an idea into their own viable culinary project. Defining the culinary concept, using tools such as the CANVAS and SWOT analysis, working with restaurant management software, and developing leadership and team management skills are some of the key elements of this training. It includes one-on-one mentoring sessions with industry professionals and visits to HORECA businesses—Palo Market, Tspoon Lab, Ágora, CETT, Bruna Pastris, and Teatre Lliure.
