Radio and social gastronomy: Radio Nikosia will host lively discussions at Altell del Mescladís
As part of FEM BARRi, we are launching a very special collaboration with Radio Nikosia, which will host the discussion "Arts escèniques i salut mental" (Performing arts and mental health), an activity that is also part of the Institut del Teatre's series of dialogues. The session will take place from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Altell del Mescladís and is intended to be an open space for reflection, listening, and dialogue between creators and the public.
The conversation will feature two leading professionals. On the one hand, José Manuel Pagán, composer, sound therapist, painter, and writer, author of numerous soundtracks for film and television, and director for more than 22 years of the Orquestra de la Bona Sort, made up of people with experience in mental health. On the other hand, Marina Pallarès, actress, educator, and director of the Acting Now company, doctor of Performing Arts, and creator of the Teatre del Sí methodology.
Radio Nikosia will facilitate the discussion through a "row 0," joining the dialogue with questions and reflections that help to open and enrich the debate, encouraging active listening and participation among all those present.
This activity marks the beginning of a collaboration that we are particularly excited about. Radio Nikosia will be present throughout the upcoming editions of FEM BARRi, strengthening Altell del Mescladís as a stable space for meetings, talks, and shared thinking, open to the general public. We celebrate this alliance as an opportunity to continue building bridges between culture, the performing arts, and mental health, creating spaces where words, experiences, and creativity can come together from a community-based and transformative perspective.
We will continue to share news very soon.
