Welcome to Convit/e
Convit/e is the sociocultural and gastronomic project promoted by the Cultural Producer Mescladís. It aims to create awareness spaces through various themes, such as gastronomy, sustainable catering, social and solidarity economy, migration, culture or art.
It is structured around the magazine Convit/e, the activities of the Espai Convit/e, the dissemination in educational centers through Convit/e educatiu, the promotion of young talent with the Convit/e Contest or the celebration of diversity through artistic, gastronomic and musical expressions of the Festa Convit/e and the Altell.

Convit/e Magazine
The editorial project of Convit/e.
It was born in September 2022 with the purpose of talking about the social and environmental challenges of our society, combining art, action and reflection. With a biannual periodicity, each issue addresses a thematic axis from the point of view of personalities from the world of gastronomy, culture, art or academic research.
Promoted and directed by the Cultural Production Company Mescladís, it counts with the participation of Cordegat's creative team, in charge of the co-direction and creative execution of the project.
Convit/e magazine has won the Laus Plata 2024 award in the Aporta category, which rewards projects in graphic design, digital design, audiovisual or advertising that stand out for their social or cultural contribution articulated through design, art direction and visual communication.

Convit/e is an integral cultural program of Productora Social Mescladís, which includes the Convit/e Editorial Project: a biannual paper magazine that intertwines critical reflection, art and gastronomy from an intercultural perspective.
Through journalism, literature, academic research, photography and illustration, we address issues such as human rights, diversity and the environment, with the mission of counteracting hate speech and promoting social dialogue. This commitment extends to philosophical and scenic gatherings such as Massa Mare, which are born from each published issue.
In 2024, Convit/e Magazine received the Laus Plata Award in the Aporta category, which recognizes graphic, digital, audiovisual or advertising design projects with a high social or cultural impact, thanks to its proposal in art direction and visual communication.
In addition, the Convit/e universe includes Convit/e Educativo, an educational program in schools and universities, and Espai Convit/e, a series of community and cultural actions deployed in Mescladís spaces. All of this seeks to broaden audiences, deepen awareness-raising work and transcend walls and borders between disciplines.

Espai Convit/e
Participation as a basis for cohesion.
Participation and awareness-raising through workshops, talks and audiovisual screenings are the basis of Espai Convit/e.
It is a participatory and awareness-raising space based on workshops, talks and audiovisual projections led by experts in different areas of knowledge, such as photography, gastronomy, journalism or art.
The programmed activities are carried out in collaboration with social entities, schools, universities or museums in different neighborhoods of Barcelona, seeking to strengthen the social fabric and citizen participation, highlighting respect for diversity, gender equality, solidarity and cooperation.
Educational Invitation
Participation as a basis for shared reflection and critical thinking.
We promote the core values of Mescladís through a project aimed at secondary schools within the framework of subjects that work on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), fostering the critical spirit of students and promoting social action from the classroom.
Journalism, photography and illustration as educational tools
We facilitate the creation of the collaborative magazine Convite, in which students take on professional roles to research, debate and communicate about sustainability, migration and social justice. Through their own publication, they seek to generate an impact beyond the classroom.

Convit/e Competition
The Convit/e Contest, organized by Mescladís Cultural Production Company with the collaboration of other organizations, aims to recognize the committed work of students of visual arts, design and journalism, whom we consider the representatives of our future society, in the promotion and defense of human rights, intercultural dialogue, social inclusion and sustainability, while seeking to establish new opportunities for collaboration that will allow Mescladís to continue innovating and growing in the development of the cultural program and the Convit/e magazine.
The contest is divided into three categories: photography, illustration and journalistic chronicle.

The first edition of the Convit/e 2025 Awards is divided into three categories, photography, illustration and journalistic chronicle, and is aimed at students.
Convit/e Party
Spring in Barcelona has a reference date.
A meeting space, an artistic, gastronomic and musical expression live and for all ages. A moment of encounter, of reflection around artistic exhibitions that involve the community. It is also the moment to present Convit/e Magazine and to share its thematic axis.
The Convit/e Festival takes place at Nau Bostik and Teatre Lliure de Montjuic.
Annual Party 2023
On November 5, 2023, the second edition of the Convit/e Festival was held, with the presentation of issue 2 of the magazine and the fall-winter program of activities. This edition of Convit/e focused on the history of migration and the dialogue between different origins and generations of people who have arrived in Catalonia.
Annual Party 2022
On Sunday, March 19, the Convit/e Party took place, a day of free workshops, activities, music and gastronomy for all ages, where we presented the new issue of the Convit/e project. With the participation of Agnes Essonti Luque, Tania Safura Adam, Periferia Cimarronas, Quinny Martínez Hernández, Las tamboreras del Caribe and NBC gas butane, DJ SET Colectivo Jokkoo.
