Tertulia Imaginary Migrants

How is the migrant imaginary constructed and how does it impact the expansion of borders? On February 26, the Altell will host "Imaginary Migrants", a discussion within the cycle Recetario Mescladís, where dialogue becomes the common thread to explore and evaluate the experiences of migrant women in our society. In this session, journalist and writer Belén López Peiró, poet Fátima Saheb, illustrator Rocío Quillahuaman, musician Ahyvin Bruno and writer Sara Guerrero, will come together to reflect on how their stories and perspectives not only enrich our cultural narratives, but also invite us to rethink and redefine our identity in a world in constant transformation.

This tertulia will include a special moment of live art, featuring the art and music of Las Karamba, the poetry of Fatima Saheb and the Poetry is not Dead collective, who will share poetry and music that will resonate with the experiences of migration and cultural legacy. We invite you to be part of this meaningful dialogue, where each voice represents a unique experience and each story contributes to building a more inclusive and diverse community. Don't miss this opportunity to listen, dialogue and connect!
