Mescladís Lliure Gràcia, a shelter for wines
We invite you to immerse yourself in a very special experience.
One Friday a month at 7:15 pm at Mescladís Lliure Gràcia we will meet in tasting sessions, a space for tasting and conversation with producers. We will be able to meet the people behind the glasses and the stories behind the people.
An opportunity to meet sustainable wineries in Catalonia, which, in the words of the protagonists, will be able to tell us about their production processes and strategies.

Sustainability and Elegance.
Wine is a bridge between the land, tradition, and innovation. For the third edition of the Refugi de Vi in Mescladís Gràcia, we welcome Herència Altés. They will invite us to explore the soul of Terra Alta, a wine-producing region characterized by its old vines, biodiversity, and commitment to sustainability.
Herència Altés: A family project with deep roots
Since 2010, Núria Altés and Rafael De Haan have led this family project born from a passion for wine and a love for their land. Herència Altés is not just a winery; it's a way of preserving the cultural and natural heritage of Terra Alta, where they work primarily with Garnacha Blanca and Garnacha Negra, native varieties that define the identity of their wines.
With organic vineyards and minimal intervention techniques, Herència Altés produces elegant, fresh wines with a profound expression of the terroir. Each bottle tells a story that honors both the land and those who have worked it for generations.
Innovation at the service of sustainability
Sustainability is at the heart of this project. From the use of renewable energy with solar panels to the restoration of native flora and fauna, Herència Altés has transformed its Lo Grau de l'Inquisidor estate into a natural sanctuary.
The winery has also implemented water recycling systems, built botanical gardens, and reintroduced species such as the barn owl and the kestrel to balance the ecosystem. Furthermore, its underground design allows them to minimize energy use in wine aging, a model that led them to join the International Wineries for Climate Action (IWCA) in 2022.
A tasting that celebrates Terra Alta
In this edition of the Wine Refuge, Herència Altés will present a selection of wines that stand out for their authenticity and respect for the environment:
La Musaranya 2023. A very lively wine, representative of the Garnacha Blanca from Terra Alta thanks to the accompaniment during the production process.
Trementinaire 2021. Trementinaire is a breezy wine with a bright orange color.
La Pilosa 2022. The Garnacha Peluda seems shy at first, but its wildest side awakens as it opens up.
La Borrassona 2022. Cherry red color, bright, medium layer.
An event to share awareness and flavor
Discover the world of Herència Altés in a special tasting next Friday, June 6th at 7:15 p.m. An experience where every sip celebrates biodiversity, tradition, and the sustainable future of viticulture.
