📍 Barcelona Museum of Natural Sciences — Hivernacle
📅 Museum Night
🕖 7:00 PM – 1:00 AM
🎟️ Free admission
Massa Mare is a deconstructed theatrical gathering that takes the form of an encounter between the performing arts and thought, where artistic emotion becomes open to social and political reflection.
As part of Museum Night, Massa Mare, co-produced with La Otra Orilla, presents an edition linked to the new issue of the magazine Convit/e · (Con)Ciència.
Under the concept ofHuman Greenhouse, an immersive installation will be presented, composed of sound, light, moving bodies, and the narrative of scientist Marina Martínez, which explores new ways of perceiving life and coexistence, questioning the notion of linear time and proposing a cyclical view of existence.
In dialogue with the exhibitions Time and Darwin and Plants, the piece offers an experience where past, present, and future coexist simultaneously, questioning the boundaries between reality and fiction, matter and energy, nature and culture.
The project also includes a collaborative process with students from Mescladís, where native languages and shared experiences create a common space that goes beyond words.
