Massa Mare’s new creation is inspired by the Japanese philosophy of kintsugi, which repairs cracks in ceramics with gold, making them part of the piece’s beauty and history. It is a way of viewing a fracture not as the end, but as an opportunity for transformation.

An exploration of how we transform ourselves and find new ways to come together again after breaking apart. Through a dialogue between personal testimonies, journalism, and the performing arts, Kintsugi transforms Plaça Margarida Xirgu into a space of memory, resilience, and community.

A space where lefts are not hidden, but rather become an opportunity. Where thought becomes experience through the body, music, and performance.
