FEM BARRI + CONVIT/E KINTSUGI

On October 24, we presented issue No. 8 of Convit/e, *Kintsugi*, on a date that echoes the Day of the Dead: two traditions that, each in its own way, transform what is broken or lost into something we can face head-on.

Kintsugi repairs broken pottery with gold, leaving the crack visible rather than hiding it. The Day of the Dead does something similar with absence: it doesn’t keep it silent; it celebrates it. On October 24, we’re doing the same with the pages of Convit/e—we’re naming what’s missing so we can keep building.
