We went for dinner and loved the place. The food was good and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Plus there was live music. We'll definitely be back!

I’d like to give 5 stars because every time we’ve come here, we’ve been well taken care of, so I don’t think it’s fair to the staff, who have always been polite and helpful. But what happened today was shameful. This comment is mainly directed at the manager with short, dark hair who was working this afternoon, May 31, and was extremely rude. We paid for our drinks as they were brought to us or as we picked them up at the bar, and they came to find us because we hadn’t paid for our meal—a complete oversight on our part. But when I went over to try to clarify that I thought I’d paid for all the drinks, and before I could even explain myself, she jumped in, speaking in a tone that was anything but professional, accusing me of lying because I’d just said I’d paid for them—even though I told her I thought they were already covered but was giving the restaurant the benefit of the doubt by offering to pay for them— and yet she remains unpleasant—it seems to me you’re way out of line. The thing is, I’ve also been a manager for a very long time and have worked in several restaurants, and the first thing you learn is that you have to be on the floor supporting the team, not behind a bar without ever coming out and speaking to regular customers like that for no apparent reason and without even listening to what they have to say. If this is supposed to be an organization that teaches the beautiful craft of hospitality, you should teach it better. Seriously, it’s a shame. And to you—who I assume will read this—I’ll just say it’s a pity that your communication skills are so mediocre and you have so little desire to do well the job you’re paid to do.

On Sunday night, we decided to go back because we’d already had a very positive experience there. In fact, we’d recommended the place to others precisely because of how well we’d eaten there before. We were looking forward to spending a nice afternoon and having a leisurely dinner, especially since we’d loved their scrambled eggs the last time we were there. We arrived around 8:00 p.m., and after waiting quite a while to be served, we placed a very clear order: a ham-and-cheese croissant, four orange sodas, and three plates of scrambled eggs. There were four of us, and we all heard the order perfectly. I even confirmed that we didn’t want anything else. The problem began when they brought only one of the plates of scrambled eggs, and after waiting more than 30–40 minutes, the rest of the food never arrived. We asked several times, but no one gave us clear answers. Finally, the waiter who took our order claimed, with a laugh, that we hadn’t ordered those dishes. His attitude was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. The most serious issue was that, around 10:00 p.m., we were told they could no longer serve us our meal because the kitchen had closed and the chef had left. In other words, after spending nearly two hours waiting at the restaurant, they intended to leave us without dinner because of their own mistake in taking the order. As customers, I consider this unacceptable. We chose to spend our evening dining at this establishment, trusting in the service they offered and based on our previous experience there. It is not normal for a customer to place an order during kitchen hours and then be told, at nearly 10:00 p.m., that there is no solution and that they must leave without eating due to an internal staff error. Furthermore, throughout the entire incident, some staff members displayed a mocking and indifferent attitude. At no point were we offered a real solution until we had to ask for a complaint form. Only then did the kitchen supervisor appear; she acted professionally, personally prepared the outstanding dishes, and even offered us a complimentary brownie. I also want to point out that they hadn’t even brought the croissant, even though it was clearly on display and didn’t require preparation in the kitchen. All of this gave the impression of total disorganization. We even got the impression that some employees were drinking at the bar while on the job. And, to top off the experience, when they finally came to charge us, they had included a glass of white wine and two draft beers that we never ordered or consumed. After everything that happened, we still had to go over the bill and complain again because they were trying to charge us for drinks that weren’t ours. Honestly, it got to the point where it seemed like the waiter wasn’t capable of doing his job properly: he mixed up orders, forgot things, laughed constantly at our complaints, and wasn’t even able to provide a correct bill. It’s a shame, because the food is good, but the customer service, the way they handled the mistake, and their respect for customers were very poor. A very disappointing experience, especially coming from a place we had recommended and to which we returned precisely because of the trust it had built with us previously.

We organized a business dinner there and we want to say that we were delighted. We would like to highlight the work of Wolda in organizing the event and that of the staff who served us. Everything was excellent. Highly recommended for events of this type, a very pleasant venue with live music!!!
