Bridging the Gap: Writing Workshop. By María Catalina Jimenez.
Writing workshop to take ownership of our migratory history.
Second Wednesdays (April 9, May 14 and June 11) at 7:15 pm. By María Catalina Jimenez.
To narrate our journey, our search, our mixed identity, always in movement, always changing. "I chose to create this workshop because as a migrant person I understood how complex and diverse the process is and how necessary it is to share it with others in order to reflect ourselves and feel heard."

The workshop has a dynamic that goes beyond the written word; the simple fact of putting our history on paper and reading it aloud gives it the weight and value it deserves. A space and a safe haven, where each participant can review everything they have lived, ask themselves who they were, who they are today and who they want to become.
As Fabio Morábito says, "I pant my alphabet, varied and solitary, and I find at last my desert language of nomad, my true soil".. Come find your language, your story, and share your process in this space of listening and creativity.
