Presentation of the new issue of CONVIT/E Magazine N°5

Mescladís Cultural Production Company organizes the launch event of the new issue of CONVIT/E Magazine N°5, a publication that is part of an editorial project initiated in 2022, and that articulates thought, art and social action through a collaborative and interdisciplinary approach.

Each issue of the magazine, which is published every six months, presents a thematic axis from the perspective of people linked to gastronomy, culture, art or research. On this occasion, dialogue is the common thread of the articles, interviews and illustrations that make up the edition.
The editorial project has the creative co-direction of Cordegat and has been recognized with the Laus Silver Award 2024, in the category Aporta, for its cultural and social contribution through design, art direction and visual communication.

Welcome and introduction by Martín Habiague, director of Mescladís
Conversation presentation with:
- Belén López Peiró, writer
- Irene Yúfera, linguist
- Cristina Mas, journalist
Presentation of certificates of the Convit/e Educational Contest, by Nuria Domingo (Mescladís), with presentation of the winners of the process carried out in universities.
Gastronomic appetizer prepared by the students of the Cuinant Oportunitats program: a training and social and labor insertion initiative linked to the kitchen as a space for opportunities.

About the CONVIT/E publishing project

CONVIT/E Magazine is an initiative promoted by the Cultural Producer Mescladís that was born in September 2022 as a platform to address social and environmental issues with a critical, creative and collaborative approach.
Each edition seeks to generate spaces for reflection around central themes such as sustainability, migration or social justice, linking cultural action to the fields of journalism, illustration and academic thought.

Convit/e Educational: thinking from the classroom

Convit/e Educativo is a Mescladís educational project aimed at high schools and universities working on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The project encourages the active participation of students through a collaborative process of creating magazines, assuming professional roles in research, writing and design.

The objective is to encourage critical thinking and social responsibility within the educational environment, using tools such as journalism, photography and illustration to promote action from the classroom to the social environment.
