FEM BARRI with the participation of the Institut del Teatre

On Saturday, January 31, the neighborhood will be filled with cultural, community, and gastronomic activities as part of FEM BARRI, a day open to everyone that celebrates art, community, and community life.

🗣️ Dialogues · Performing Arts and Social Action

The Postgraduate Course in Performing Arts and Social Action at the Institut del Teatre presents the ninth edition of the Diàlegs series, a space for conversation between professionals in the performing arts, education, and community action.
These sessions, open to the general public, address participatory, collective, and community-based artistic and cultural processes in different educational, healthcare, and street contexts.

As a new feature, this year the Dialogues are part of FEM BARRI and will conclude with a musical performance open to the public.

PERFORMING ARTS AND COMMUNITY PROJECTS

Thomas Louvat, cultural manager and theater director. Creator of the TeatroDENTRO project, artistic practices in prisons. He is part of the coordinating team of Caixa d'Eines-Pla de Barris and artistic director of the Vulnus Association.
Ingrid Riera, member of the Naixem cridant collective and co-founder of the La noia del monyo association. Navigating between creation, mediation, and management.
PERFORMING ARTS AND MENTAL HEALTH
H: 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.                   
José Manuel Pagán, composer, sound therapist, painter, and writer. Author of numerous soundtracks for film and television. For 22 years, he has been the director of the Orquestra de la Bona Sort, an orchestra made up of people with mental illness.
Marina Pallarès, actress, educator, and director of the Acting Now company. Doctor of Performing Arts. Creator of the Teatre del Sí methodology.

🎶 Closing concert

At the end of the last dialogue, there will be a concert by the Orquestra de la Bona Sort, conducted by José Manuel Pagán, at the exit of the Teatre Lliure on Carrer Santa Madrona.
A performance that celebrates the link between culture, community, and neighborhood.

🍽️ Mobile Kitchen · FEM BARRI

During the day, the Mobile Kitchen will offer a popular lunch featuring seasonal products:

  • Calçots

  • Potato omelet
    🕑 Starting at 2:00 p. m.

🎵 Music at noon

At 2:00 p.m., the day will continue with a concert bythe Orquestra de la Bona Sort and Son de Gràcia, adding music and celebration to the FEM BARRI festivities.
