This duo formed by son and father, Jonás Callejas (composition, lead vocals, guitar, bass, piano) and Daniel Callejas (composition, piano, vocals, bass, guitar) was born in 2018 in La Plata, Argentina. From the beginning they combined own repertoire, arranging songs by Dan and Jonás to play and sing in two voices, and also adapting songs by Latin American composers. From the work on the compositions of Dan and Jonás, the duo was consolidating a way of working and their own sound, very original and at times virtuosic, with a compositional root very close to the Latin American singer-songwriters that influenced them, but with the freshness of the most current productions. Our presentations in the auditorium of the Provincial Senate in La Plata, in the Vamos Las Bandas de Quilmes in Argentina and more recently in the Imprescindibles cycle in the framework of the Terramar festival in Spain, among other places, stand out.
