Sessions Brasil AUE presents: Guira Una (Barcelona)

Guira Una is a musical project based in Barcelona that fuses Afro-Brazilian rhythms with contemporary sounds. Its proposal, led by Rach Araujo and Letícia Salgueiro, draws from ancestry, feminine energy and LGBTQIA+ experiences.

In their concert they will present their own compositions, classics of Brazilian music and creations by independent artists, weaving a bridge between tradition and current events. Rhythms such as maracatu, ijexá and maculelê evoke the land, carnival and resistance.
