Rafael Rocha Sonora is a Brazilian musical composer and multi-artist. He was one of the important exponents in the creation of projects that boosted Rio de Janeiro's indie scene in the last 30 years, with the gypsy group Brasov, with his brother Felipe Rocha and the band Tono with Bem Gil, Gilberto Gil's son, among others.

He collaborated in albums, shows, compositions and productions with important Brazilian music artists such as Gal Costa, Gilberto Gil, Adriana Calcanhotto, Jorge Mautner, Moreno Veloso, Arto Lindsay, among many others, and gained experience to set up his solo project, releasing the albums Pirâmide and Pedra. His songs have been recorded by artists of different generations, such as Ney Matogrosso, Roberta Sá and Mãe Ana.

He is currently finishing his third album and lives between Rio de Janeiro and Vilanova i Geltru, creating and producing music between the city and nature. His artistic research travels through different cultures mixing his percussive, vocal and electronic experimentations. Rafael already spent a month in the Amazon, producing the album "Kayatibu" of the indigenous community Huni Kuin and produced the album Satélite, made with poets from the Complexo da Maré (a group of favelas in Rio de Janeiro). He also composed the soundtrack for the documentary 'Vale', about the biggest Brazilian environmental disaster.

His concert includes music from his last two albums, other unreleased songs, as well as music from his band Tono, and tributes to artists with whom he has already collaborated and played, such as Moreno Veloso, Gilberto Gil and Gal Gosta.
