Massa Mare

Massa Mare at the Teatre Lliure de Gracia, thought and living arts in a scenic dialogue.

May 6 at 7 p.m. at the Teatre Lliure de Gràcia

Sourdough is an unbaked spectacle. It is not kneaded, it has no shape. It is in its pure state.

The mother of all is a visible and invisible organic ecosystem full of time and life. A process of fermentation, where things affect each other, smell, grow and are transmitted, shared.

It is the struggle between spontaneous fermentation, without external agents, and induced fermentation. A struggle of times. The slow and the fast. Patience and immediacy. The dirty and the clean. The rotten and the raw.

Diverse micro armies of organisms and bacteria dialogue between reason and emotion. Thought, music, dance and poetry as essential tools to elevate life.
