Guitarist Joan Fort and organist Abel Boquera join their talents in an exceptional duo to offer an intimate evening full of swing and groove, distinctive characteristics of their music.
Joan Fort (1997, Tarragona) is a guitarist and composer who, after completing his master's degree in Jazz Guitar at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and Temple University in Philadelphia, has collaborated with leading musicians such as Dick Oatts, Jeremy Pelt, Vincent Herring and Grant Stewart. His first album as a leader, 'So Far, So Good' (2025), has received excellent reviews on the international jazz scene.
Abel Boquera (1974, Vilanova i la Geltrú) is an organist, pianist and producer based in Barcelona, renowned for his mastery of the Hammond organ. He has been leading the trio The Shu Shu's for more than 15 years and has worked with renowned artists such as Ray Gelato, Seamus Blake and Muriel Grossmann. His versatility covers genres such as soul, blues, jazz and funk, consolidating him as a key figure in the Barcelona music scene.
This duo promises a unique musical experience, fusing the skill and sensitivity of both artists in an intimate format that highlights the essence of jazz.
