Andean Exploration, this project originates from the desire of four friends to play, feel and deliver the warmth of Latin American roots music in the busy streets of cosmopolitan Barcelona. Quena, zampoña, bass drum, guitar and charango are part of the instruments that star melodies and accompany stories coming from the other side of the pond. Our repertoire is nourished by diverse rhythms such as the huaynos of the vast altiplano, the solemnity of the Argentine zamba, the chaotic Chilean cueca, the rhythmic beat of the saya and the cadence of the Venezuelan joropo, and passing through taquiraris.
