New cycle of Dialogues in the Postgraduate Program in Performing Arts and Social Action – OUR POSTGRADUATES AND COMMUNITY PROJECTS AND EDUCATION BY, FOR, THROUGH... THE ARTS?

The Postgraduate Course in Performing Arts and Social Action at the Institut del Teatre presents, in its 9th edition, a new series of Dialogues between different professionals in the performing arts, education, and community action. The sessions will take place on weekends between January 23 and January 31, 2026, and respond to the need to bring to the table the plurality of perspectives and approaches to artistic and cultural processes, participatory, collective, and community-based, in educational, healthcare, neighborhood, and street spaces. These talks, initially aimed at postgraduate students and the educational community of the Institut del Teatre, are open to the general public.

Vignesh Tolu Melwuani, a multidisciplinary artist, combines composition with singing, Kathak dance, and acting. A cultural agitator and researcher, he has participated in various community projects such as Barcelona Coral Àsia.
Nerea García Toral, social integrator, together with Arantza Crespo from the Raíz Violeta Association, specializing in gender equality issues and awareness and prevention with children and adolescents.
