İrem Arslan is a Turkish singer of world jazz based in Barcelona. Her music fuses jazz, Turkish makam and a cappella traditions with a strong narrative imprint, giving voice to the untold stories of Mediterranean women. Trained in jazz, ethnomusicology and vocal technique in Turkey, Italy and international programs, she has performed on stages such as the Sydney Opera House and collaborated on projects in Europe and Australia. With her ahenk project, İrem explores improvisation and emotional depth, a path that will culminate in her debut album due in 2026.
