Blue Bacon - Concert Jazz and Bossa-Nova Saturday, April 12

Blue Bacon is a musical duo formed by the Brazilian guitarist Frederico Vannini and the Sevillian percussionist Jesús Campos. Their artistic proposal focuses on fusing diverse musical genres, combining the harmonic richness of jazz and bossa nova with the deep feeling of blues and the rhythmic precision of flamenco. This amalgam of styles gives rise to a distinctive sound that reflects his varied influences and personal experiences.

In his presentations, Blue Bacon performs both his own compositions and versions of flamenco songs, always imbuing his repertoire with a Mediterranean air and a bluesy sensibility. Their musical approach includes the use of pedals and effects that provide surprising textures and timbres, spontaneously alternating between instrumental passages, vocals, solos and improvisations. This versatility allows them to approach standards, traditional tunes and original creations with a unique perspective.
