Priscilla Barbosa Quartet presents: Women, Beyond Bossa Nova
A project that combines a lecture and concert to highlight Brazilian female composers and singers who have been silenced by structural racism and gender inequality.
Led by Priscilla Barbosa, singer and researcher, this event brings together music, storytelling, and historical research in a feminist and anti-racist proposal that has toured European festivals such as Sonamos Latinoamérica (Copenhagen), Regards Satellites (Paris), Parallel 62, and Jardinets del Talia (Barcelona).
An intimate evening to expand the soundscape of contemporary Brazil.
