Conversation with Frau Diamanda and Diego Marchante · Convit/e Kintsugi Magazine · Monday, July 6 · 6:30 p.m. – Mescladís Montjuïc

As part of the Convit/e Kintsugi journal, Frau Diamanda and Diego Marchante will hold an open conversation to introduce some of the theoretical, political, and conceptual themes that underpin the journal’s new issue, which will be launched this October and was co-produced in collaboration with Dora García and the Tàpies Museum.

The gathering will address issues related to the history of the trans struggle and its convergence with other struggles, the metaphor of resurrection as justice in the face of the structural violence of cisnormative discourses, collective bodies, and the tensions between community, identity, and dissent. These themes, central to both the publication and the subsequent performance, will serve as a starting point for a shared reflection on the possibilities of community-building and contemporary forms of resistance and mutual support. This space for dialogue will function as a contextual introduction to *Corocuerpo*, offering the audience tools and perspectives from which to engage with the theatrical experience.

Convit/e is a publishing project launched by the social production company Mescladís, under the artistic direction of Dora García and in collaboration with the Tàpies Museum, which offers a space for critical thinking and experimentation around contemporary artistic and social practices.
